Sterling Bay purchased this 12-story Gothic style office building in July 2007. The building, completed in 1927, was designed by architect Jens J. Jensen and at the time of purchase, was owned by a privately held entity controlled by Sam Zell. Ideally located on the northwest corner of Franklin and Adams Streets across the street from the Sears Tower, ownership is close to completing the renovation of the building, including new windows, façade repairs, lobby renovation, and an overhaul of common areas, and bathrooms. The property is currently over 77% leased, and ownership has completed over $12 million in capital improvements.
